If? you were compiling a list of “30 things to do in Rayleigh before you are 30” , surely climbing to the top of Holy Trinity Church would be one of them. You get a chance to do that on Monday. Find out more at the Friends of Holy Trinity web page:

The Tower Open Day?is on Monday May 25th 2015 from 10am ?to 5pm with the last tours at 4.30pm. Prices are ?3 for adults and ?1 for children (aged 8 and above). Unfortunately an insurance requirement is that no children under 8 years are allowed up the tower.?Refreshments will be on sale all day and?Mike Davies will be there with an Old Rayleigh Exhibition in order to promote the new Town Museum.

  • Done this today. In addition to the opportunity to take photos from the tower, we were given a talk on the bells and bell ringing. There was information on the Rayleigh museum and I enjoyed a chat with some of the volunteers. Also caught up with Chris Lumley and Alison, an on line focus regular. Both were helping out with the event. It was well worth it. Thank you to all involved.
