Some good news – we’ve just got this from the District Council – a replacement for the number 35 bus service:
“Regal will be running the new service although it’ll be renamed 33a. This has only been finalised over the last couple of days and Essex County Council are awaiting a timetable – should be roughly every 2 hours.
The route will change slightly between Southend and Rayleigh – through London Rd to Westcliff – Leigh back on to London Road – Hadleigh – Rayleigh – Rawreth and then the normal stops after that.
The new service is expected to start in December. “(Actually, December 3rd)
