More disappointment for children and parents. We’ve been informed by Rochford District Council that the installation of the new play equipment is now not scheduled until AFTER Easter! Our local parks and playgrounds have been plagued by closures in recent years, most likely due to the low amount that was budgeted for maintenance. Unfortunately, it doesn’t appear that this is a priority for our Council, we will make further enquiries to find out why this delay has occurred.
