The contests in Rochford West , Rochford North and Rochford South are all interesting.

Rochford West
David Frederick Flack Labour Party
Michael Hoy Green Party
Tina Rose Hughes UK Independence Party (UKIP)
Carole Anne Weston Conservative Party

The local Liberal Democrats have made a deliberate decision not to put a candidate against Michael Hoy, who won the seat for the Greens last time and has worked hard ever since.  His main challenger is Tory Chair of Rochford District Council Carole Weston. David Flack is a former Labour councillor with a high recognition factor in Hullbridge.

Rochford North
Nicholas Leonard Cooper UK Independence Party (UKIP)
Terry Cutmore Conservative Party
Daniel Henry Irlam Liberal Democrats
David James Michael Lench Labour Party
John Reginald Frederick Mason Rochford District Residents

A clash of the Titans here – The leader of the District Council, Terry Cutmore, is being challenged by the leader of the largest opposition group, John Mason. Meanwhile Lib Dem Daniel Irlam is impressively contesting his third council election as a candidate – and he’s only nineteen!

Rochford South
Tracy Connie Ann Arnold Liberal Democrats
Simon Ashley Cross Green Party
Mark Jonathon Daniels Labour Party
Robert Leonard Green Independent
Neil John Hookway UK Independence Party (UKIP)
Mike Steptoe Conservative Party

A big clash on the political right here between Deputy Tory District Council Leader Mike Steptoe and UKIP District Council Leader Neil Hookway. Our Lib Dem Tracy Arnold looks the best left-of-centre choice.
