I fully support Jackie’s efforts to have this subject reviewed!!
I initially raised the problem of the appalling state of the Play Spaces in Hartford Close, Rayleigh.
I was horrified to learn that cleaning up & removal of the graffiti, could take up to 3 years!
This is not acceptable.
These areas, mostly used by younger children, should be cleaned & repaired fairly frequently.
Who monitors them?
Jackie’s suggestion to bring these areas into line with street furniture, should be endorsed.
I sincerely hope that the District Council Cabinet support the change in policy.
