Some residents in the Louis Drive West area of Rayleigh are celebrating today. It appears that a planning Inspector has upheld the Council’s decision, made in February of this year, to refuse permission for 18 flats to be built at the junction of London Road and Louis Drive West. We understand that the Inspector took into account height and proximity to other properties in arriving at this decision.
